THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF SHOESTRING VALLEY COMMUNITY CHURCH, ALONG WITH THEIR SPONSORS, DID A CAR WASH TODAY. THEY ARE RAISING MONEY TO SEND ONE OF THEIR OWN, DANIEL SMITH, TO RWANDA ON A SHORT TERM MISSIONS TRIP. I HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF SERVING THIS CHURCH AS INTERIM PASTOR. THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF WASHING OUR VAN!

Hi you two, I just finished writing a nice comment to you and lost it all somehow. :-( I shall try again. These are great pic's and the sunset is spectacular. Thanks for all the info on your family time you include. It is nice to hear. We just had some last Thursday at the Beach. We went in afternoon and had an eve. bonfire for a granddaughters B.D. All had a great time. Don remembers the Foxglove from his boyhood days growing up in NE. I was raised for 8 years in Portland but don't remember a lot about it. My recall is bad. :-) How is your new knee doing, Jean? Don's are so good and he is praising God for them. We recently went to an R.V. place for R & R and he could walk up the hills with NO problem. That was a great thrill for him. Our summer is a different one what with Tami and her Chemo treatments. God has been good and she is doing as good as can be expected. We feel that the Natural things she is doing are helping a great deal. We just keep looking to God for his strength and wisdom as we proceed, with her, in this way.
