It is a unique experience to live near the center of a small town. Mossyrock has about 500 people in it. When I walk through town, people wave, some stop to talk, and actually most everyone knows everyone...maybe not by name. I meet several days a week for coffee with some of the town's oldest residents...most have been here all their lives. I learn a lot of history! I know the mayor and one of the men on the council has coffee with us. The two churches, plus a Latino church, a grocery store, and two gas stations serve the community well. The hardware store is under new ownership and carries most anything you might need. We enjoy living in this little bit of America. (click the picture to enlarge)
