WE LIVED IN ALASKA FOR 33 YEARS AND NEVER ONCE DID WE NEED CHAINS ON OUR TIRES...AND WE DID NOT HAVE 4 WHEEL DRIVE EITHER. WE HAVE HAD 12-16 INCHES OF SNOW HERE IN MOSSYROCK. SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT IS NOT READILY AVAILABLE, SO YOU EITHER STAY HOME OR PUT ON CHAINS.

It's strange that you guys have more snow than we do! We have less than a foot and it's warming up. But I remember big snows down there and how everything ground to a halt. Windy roads, many hills and large tree with big limbs made for a mess in western WA. God bless and Merry Christmas! Valen and Carol
