Among all the friends I visited last week in Grayling was Bede Deacon. We have known each other since 1954. He and his wife, Jovia, were solid Christians over many years. She has gone ahead to heaven, and while Bede doesn't get around as well as he'd like, it was great to visit and remember days of long ago.
