December Storm

On Monday Jeanie and I started to drive to the coast. When we were about an hour away from home, we heard that all roads to the coast were closed! There was a lot of rain and wind...up to 129mph...where we were headed. SO...we came home. Listening to news on the radio and internet, we found that Chehalis, the town we shop in, was under water. In fact the WalMart Superstore had 6 feet of water in it. The interstate, I-5, was closed under 10 feet of water! This is the third time in 17 years that flooding has happened like this here. They say this is the worst they have seen.
