One of the joys of having grandchildren is feeding them all the ice cream and chocolate syrup they can eat. Well, maybe not ALL they can eat, but a few of these had three bowls!! Maybe they take after their grandpa! These kids belong to Mark and Lorri and Jay and Susan. We have had a great time with family here in Alaska....as well as a great time of ministry.

Hi there! My name is Caroline Brown and you commented on my blog (akbrownie) a few months back about my trip to Grayling. Are you the missionaries that lived in Holikachuk and took all those wonderful pictures that Henry Deacon has? I've been working in Grayling for the last many years and it was so wonderful to see that bit of history - such beautiful pictures!!

I guess that's us. There was an Episcopal priest that lived in Holikachuk also from 1954-somewhere around 1958, so he may have taken some of the pictures Henry has. We lived there from 1954-1962 when we moved from Holikachuk to Grayling. Then we left Grayling in 1966. We get to Alaska 3or4 times peryear but not to Grayling. Henry and Dolly are in Anchorage sometimes and we get to see them. Thanks for the response to my blog.
